Have you dreamed of chartering a sailboat and want to learn from someone who has? Join us for the Women's Third Thursday Social on October 17th at 6 pm where Tana Graham will share her experiences and some beautiful slides of her Florida bareboat chartering adventure: how she prepared for the trip and selected her charter company, the specific area considerations she made about water, wind, and anchoring, some of the favorite things that happened, and a few surprises she encountered. There will also be other women who have bareboat chartering experiences that they'll share in our open discussion after Tana wraps up.

$7 dinner available from CYC's Chef Kaley. CYC bar will not be open - BYOB if you would like!

Join us in our casual and friendly environment to network with other like-minded women and make some new connections. Our women's social is open to women with any sailing interest from true beginners to life long sailors. See you at the Third Thursday!

The Annual Membership Meeting is one of the central recurring events for the club. It is the time to hear the State of the Club, to learn more about our club’s successes, challenges and how we are evolving to support sailing and the local sailing community.  It is also the time for us all to cast a vote to elect officials for year 2020.  Please “hold the date” and I am looking forward to see you all. - Commodore Jakob Lichtenberg

PS. To evolve we need fresh thoughts and energy in our board.  To this purpose our Nominating and Elections Committee chair Paul Kalina is in currently finalizing nominations for 2020.  Please contact Paul ( or any current board member to provide your nominations and comments.
