Family Cruising in the Arctic and BeyondFriday, February 7 - Graeme and Janna Cawrse Esarey of "DogBark!"
Graeme and Janna, with daughters Talia (13) and Savai (11), reveal their BHAG (big, hairy, audacious goal): to sail through the icy Northwest Passage, recently navigable due to climate change. Enlisting kids, grandparents, and friends as crew, they refitted an old Open 60 raceboat, Dogbark, and sailed from Seattle to the Arctic. When ice blocked their way, Hawai’i and the South Pacific became their Plan B.
