The three boats (Tremendous Slouch, Baba Louie and Furio) of the Seattle J-24 Fleet that will be attending the 2019 World Championships in Miami Florida this October will be doing a three day speed testing program on Puget Sound. This will happen the afternoons of the 12th, 13th and 14th of July. The plan is to look at sails, test trim and steering technics to get the boats going as fast as possible for the worlds. Mike Ingham with North Sails who with his team will also participating in the Worlds will be here in Seattle to contribute to the speed tuning effort. On Saturday evening (July 13th) Mike has offered to do a presentation to the fleet and any CYC members that are interested on what is being done, what we have learned and how to set up a J-24 and trim the sails to be fast.
Free nachos will be provided and the bar will be open at 6pm
