Cruise | Mother's Day Cruise to Langley Marina

Join us for Mother’s Day weekend at Langley—one of our favorite small towns! Langley is “The Village By The Sea”, on the south end of Whidbey Island, just a short cruise up the sound. It is full of cute shops, friendly bistros, 2 good museums, a winery, a brewery, and a new distillery (if you don’t mind paying Uber for the trip).

The Plan:

Saturday, May 12:

• Ride the ebb tide out early… the morning low is at 9:51am—but doing that gets you into Langley by lunchtime, which is a great idea if you can make it! The relatively new Spyhop Cafe serves good pub fare with locally-made beer—recommended.
• If you get into town early enough, don’t miss the Langley Whale Center a block off 1st St. and the South Whidbey Historical Society Museum (across from the Spyhop)—a small museum completely chock-a-block with memorabilia from the early days of Langley and Whidbey Island.
• We’ll gather for dinner at 6pm at the Prima Bistro, which serves local beer and great food at reasonable prices. Prima Bistro’s rooftop location gives a sweeping view of town and the Bay.

In order to stay in the marina, we need to get a count early—and we’ll also need a count for dinner. Please register as soon as you are able. We look forward to seeing you there!
