It is with great regret that we are going to cancel J/Fest NW for 2022. After much debate Sail Northwest and CYC has come to this difficult decision. This new COVID variant is proving to be very aggressive and very contagious.
We believe that would be socially irresponsible for us to have a J/Fest NW style party. I know a lot of you will be disappointed and this was a hard call to make. J/Fest NW just wouldn’t be the signature event it has become without the camaraderie of all the J/Sailors.
This decision isn't made lightly as this would have been the 39th anniversary of the 1st J/Fest NW. It has been a good run. CYC and Sail Northwest we will be back again in 2023 celebrating the 40 th anniversary of the first J/Fest NW.
