Bareboat Chartering in the British Virgin Islands, Speaker: Ellie Cyr

Elly Cyr was part of an all-female charter in the BVI in April of 2017 and 2022. Elly’s second BVI Cruise was shortly after the BVI and USVI relaxed their COVID protocols, but they still had to take a proctored home test before leaving the US and before returning. Much fun was had by all as they learned about the finer point of cruising in a tropical location including what to pack, provisioning and keeping food fresh, charting a course based on different sea states and wind conditions, and learning how to live with different personalities. Elly will share some lessons learned, her favorite places to visit, provision, eat and drink and where to sail to, and how to get there from here.
