CYC Virtual Holiday Crafts & Cocktails with Nordic Museum

Its the holiday season and time to spend some fun time with your CYC friends and family. Since we can't meet in the Shilshole clubhouse, we will gather together through Zoom for a unique crafts and cocktails event. We will also have a short virtual tour, and learn a little Viking history and a few Nordic stories. This event is co-hosted by the Nordic Museum. Your $5 registration includes your household or guest. You will be sent a zoom link closer to the date of the event.

Here is what you will need to bring to the event - its very simple ...

Craft materials - we will learn to make a Scandinavian star.

• 4 strips of paper about 1cm wide and 40cm long. Your paper should be at least as thick as printer paper! Catalog paper, newspaper, and magazine paper all work well too. 
• Scissors

Cocktail ingredients: This month’s cocktail is an invention from the Museum’s Freya Cafe, called a Gefion. We will be making this at the event.

• 1oz whiskey
• 1 oz aquavit
• ½ oz simple syrup 
• 4-6 dashes bitters
