What have you been doing, and what are you planning? 2nd Thursday Cruising Social - July

Our July social is coming up July 9^th at 6:30 PM. 

By executive decision our topic will be “What have you been doing, and what are you planning?”

I think we will go around the room to hear from everyone.  If we have too many items, we will carry on in August!

If you have a picture or a few, send them to me, and then I can show them when you talk about where you’ve been, or what you are working on this summer.

If you been out cruising or have plans to do some, tell us.  If you been working on a project, share your experience.  A picture would be cool if you have one.

If you are looking for a buddy boat this summer, bring it up.  I know some of the boats have been up to the San Juans, and several have been anchoring out around the Sound.  We had a really fun presentation by Paul and Erica on their cruise to the South Sound.  A few boats are signed up for Poulsbo tomorrow.  So we will have that experience to share.  After that one boat is heading to Manzanita, another to Quartermaster, and a third to South Sound.

One of our cruisers wants to ask about solar panels – do you have any experience?  Myself, I’ve been working with Simrad to overcome alarms on a new autopilot.  Maybe by Thursday I’ll have a punchline to make it a complete story with a happy ending – got my fingers crossed.  If you have a project you’ve been dreaming of or need to dig into, ask if anyone has tackled it.

Also, we will review our up coming cruise – race to Port Ludlow in August.
