The Seattle J/24 fleet is strong, large, and competitive, demonstrated by Keith Whittemore and crew who recently won the 2019 J/24 World Championship in Miami, FL. Keith’s team Furio, along with Scott Milne’s team Tremendous Slouch and Mark Laura’s team Baba-Louie, will explain what it takes to achieve success at this high level and the path to get there. Traveling with your team, whether locally, nationally, or internationally, may seem insurmountable but this panel discussion will provide tips and answer questions to break down the barriers. Discussion will include perspectives from drivers, trimmers, mid-deck, tacticians, and foredeck at varying skill levels that apply to all types of fleets and racing. As all of those that travel to compete know: “The fastest way to improve your program is to travel and race with your team”.
