This summer the cruising group is organizing Sunday Sails once a month from May through September. This is an opportunity to get your boat out for a casual Sunday cruise and connect with other members. It is our hope to get our members out on the sound for a casual day of sailing and fun.
Potential ideas would include: sailing to Kingston and stopping for a quick dinner and brew then sailing home, sailing over to Port Madison and dropping an anchor for a potluck aboard, a cruise around Lake Union or sail to Elliott Bay for a quick dinner. We are looking for boat owners who would like to take others out on their boat for the day and looking for non-boat owners who are interested in an afternoon sail with other members.
The first Sunday scheduled is May 20. There will be other ones June-September but we do not yet have dates.
Please contact Mike McGuane (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in participating. We will be in contact with you to schedule boats and people.
Whenever possible guests should bring their own PFD's. While kids are welcome, some members with boats may not be willing to take kids on their boats. This event will be first come first serve for crew.
